Rural Telephone Company began providing cable television service to Glenns Ferry residents in April of 1994. At that time there were only 28 stations with 1 local station available. Since then Rural has continually upgraded it's facilities and expanded the channel line up. In spring 2005, digital cable service was launched providing a generous variety of channels and packages with improved picture and sound quality. Today we offer more than 200 channels, giving viewers several local stations, movies, news, shopping, educational, Latino, pay-per-view movies/events and all the sports channels you could possibly want. We also carry specialty programming such as home improvement, biography, outdoor, food network and children's channels.
